“My stay at A&E was over all worth my money. They have actual room service now for guests thanks to the new cleaning girl I believe her name is Heather. My sheets were clean. Instead of dirt and food in the microwave and refrigerator I can actually eat out of these. Rooms are stocked with clean towels and other toiletries. Amazing job this girl. Along with other staff. Rooms are freshly painted,and new carpet. Huge turn around here. I highly recommend the stay at A&E.”

“This is a good place to stay if you have access to the military base. I have stayed here twice and like the .ain't building better that the one across the street from the lobby. The staff is outstanding. The only reason I am not giving the place a 5 star is because the amenities are a little dated. This is not a Courtyard by Marriott but does meet the basic needs.”

“Nice rooms and good location. Breakfast was just a little off every day though. Biggest complaint was the laundry. One dryer was marked broken and one washer was full of gross stagnant water. The other washer worked fine, but the "working" dryer did almost nothing. Don't list something as an amenity if you don't want to keep it up.”

“Just got orders and/or a new job at Pax River? Planning to move into base housing? This is where to stay while you get everything done. The staff is great. The Lodge is dog friendly. The housing office is a short walk down the street. The daycare center is just past the housing office, if you have little guys. The Commissary, Exchange and food court are across the street. The Naval Air Museum is right outside the front gate. Military retired? Call ahead and stay here.”

“I will admit the hotel itself isn't five star, But the staff is. The staff is friendly and helpful. They always try to make me feel at home. The staff alone is why I'm giving 5 stars. For the price you can't beat it. Plus it tends to be a lot quieter here than it is at the more expensive hotels I've stayed in here in Pax.”

The breakfast is pretty good, if unchanging, and I'd happily stay here again with my family. The only things I'd change would be undercover parking being available at least for check in, and perhaps cleaning the pool more regularly, but an excellent place to stay”

“Came here in 91 for the annual PT test had a beer truck waiting for our arrival. Not sure if this happens today. Nice location located close to the beach and children's playground. You will need access onto the base to enjoy this great layout. Love it..”
