The focus, concentration, persistence, and self discipline he instilled into my so starting at age seven carried over through those challenging years of grad school. 3rd degree black belt Doctor Burnetti can still repeat Mr. Brown's three rules: 1. Bend your knees. 2. DON'T BLOCK WITH YOUR FACE! 3. Best way to get out of that situation, DON'T GET IN THAT SITUATION. He turned a dad who was getting soft and out of shape into a lifetime martial artist. He won't give you a black belt. But the brown belt that he signs when you EARN his seal of approval will be one of your treasures. I consider it more precious than my original black belt or any of the four DANS I've tested for since. Your kids need the Mike Brown experience. And I cant recommend the adult class enough. My son and I tested for 3rd degree side by side. Something neither of us will forget.”
