Great trail. This is the longer route to the cascade falls. It is great for beginners. I would definitely recommend an extra pair of socks just in case because there is water and you do have to cross over a stream. There were people on the trail with their kids, dogs, and bikes. The kids will definitely enjoy the cascade. The water is just knee deep. You do not need to pay for parking on this side of the trail.
