“Absolutely loved this place!! The view right on the water was heavenly! Yes the tide comes in and raises the river but I did my research before we left home so I knew ahead of time. As far as the sites being small some are pretty tight but if you let the staff know when booking how big your camper AND tow vehicle are they will accommodate you. The staff are the nicest people and greet you every time you come into the store with a smile and cheery hello. We will most definitely be back!”

“We were totally delighted with our short stay in this new hotel. Our room was comfortable and tastefully done in earth colors with a trio of black and white photos over the bed. The bedroom and bathroom were both immaculate! Although we were only staying one evening, for those staying longer each room has a coffee maker, microwave, small refrigerator and ironing board, In addition the room had plenty of charging areas- something we both appreciated, We also had time to enjoy a time for relaxing in front of the lobby fire place with free coffee. The bathroom had great spa toiletries and the shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure- another thing we always need when traveling. Although we had to leave before their free hot breakfast, it looked great! ONE COMPLAINT: We both agreed the bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. It was as if you could feel the slats under the mattress. They have to replace these mattresses!!! But the Country Inn and Suites shares a back parking lot with the Cracker Barrel Restaurant! How can you go wrong?”

A microwave and small refrigerator were available. They also left disposable plates and utensils for me to use. Hotel has a gym and indoor swimming pool.”

“Absolutely loved the hotel, every single staff was caring and friendly. We stayed here for 10 days and felt like home. The rooms are very spacious, you can find extra pillows inside the closets, everything clean and comfortable. The pool was a plus and also the fitness center. The breakfast was delicious and they served complimentary food on weekday’s evenings. Another pleasant surprise was the laundry room because it wasn’t mentioned on the website (photo).”

“From the very first greeting from Stephen (the front desk attendant) to the very last goodbye (also with Stephen) This place quickly turned into one of my favorites! There is a huge difference between pet friendly and pet Lover Friendly....they are clearly pet lovers! (They even have dog treats!) As for the accomodations....Top notch! The room was spacious clean and comfortable! I have added this hotel to my favorites list and will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!”

“Super quiet, primitive campground for DOD personnel. There are campsites with picnic tables and stone fire rings. There are pavilions with picnic tables, and a couple of small charcole grills. There is a playground and a boat ramp. There are no showers; but, there is a portapot. The campground is very clean and quiet.”

“Older hotel that has be re modeled very well! the breakfast is awesome, the rooms are very nice with a great TV! The internet is kinda slow, works but slow. you can tell that the bath tub an toilet weren't updated, there is discoloring to both and the plug mechanism doesnt work. Check in was easy and the location is very convenient. I would recommend this hotel.”

“The conference room is a great place to hold any event. It was big enough to fit about 30+ people comfortably, with extra room to spare. We did not have anyone from guest services attend our function, however, we had access to everything we needed in that room and the connecting rooms. The bathrooms are right outside the doors and there are several doors to the one room. We will most likely be holding future events at the same location. They were very accommodating to our needs.”

“I've never stayed at a Super 8 before , I'm either at a Ritz level or at an Extended Stay America , never an in between. I drive back and forth to Boston, Raleigh and Atlanta. Because of the weather my drive got extended and I was beat . Got some gas and saw a sign for Super 8 and without a reservation I was able to get a nice room for the evening. The manager on duty William has the right amounts of charisma and work focus that impressed me. The parent company of the hotels is running system updates like 11pm to 4 am or when ever their IT maintenance window is, and he was aware of that and made sure my card didn't get double charged and that all my info was correct. Here's where it gets crazy , the outside of this facility looks like a standard motel building but inside it was great. See attached pictures and sorry my stuff was everywhere. Modern , clean and the best part even though I didn't partake ? A format of room service. If you're making that long drive through the US and are in this area, this hotel is a great experience. Room was perfect and we'll maintained. I was truly impressed from customer service at check in to the room itself.”
