Birch Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare

These Nurses, and Gna’s are right up with the tops of the top.I’ve been here 12 days in the rehab unit. I couldn’t find anything that comes remotely close to the experience here. Everyone tries their bast to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. There are so many people who work here it’s hard to Single anyone out. Wills is the Assistant administrator. Who makes it his place to help if there big or small.problems I have had no issues here. The staff is commendable for the effort. You will discover that they check in with each patient several times a day. The call button is answered with in minutes. I have to say that I seen swift and immediate response if there is a problem. I have seen from my perspective that almost every problem that I have seen are from “ Agency Fill employee’s.Birch Manor masses. Them leave and not return. Birch Manor works hard to make sure that their employees stand up to their standards. If you don’t want to give %100 on any patients positive stay here. And they really don’t tolerate anything less then that————then you don’t belong here. They are weeding out the bad seeds and have many flower's in their place.

I am happy with my time with some of the people that I met. Wills who’s the interim Director of Nursing made my stay better, he was very concerned and listened to all my needs and make sure everything is alright, he always checking on me. Nurse Dawn, and Krystal are very nice and helpful. Vanessa one of the aide is very helpful

I was scared when I first went in but the new social worker, Lisa helped calm me down and made me feel safe. Once I felt safe the nurses were super nice and rehab was great. I was upset that I couldn’t go home for Thanksgiving and Lisa set up a thanksgiving dinner with my wife at the facility. That made her day. When I need a nursing home full time I will be back! For now my rehab is complete and I am at home. Thanks Birch Manor for getting me home.

My Aunt was admitted into Birch Manor in July of this year. Her weight at the time of admission was 89lbs soaking wet. Since she's been there her weight has increased in the most healthiest way. My family & I visit her often. We are more than pleased with the care she receives at this facility. My Aunt has dementia but the excellent interpersonal skills that the staff at Birch Manor demonstrate & exercise, my aunt is able to identify her care givers by their names. Although she calls the Administrator the "Nice Boss Lady." LOL. My aunt has had no skin break downs, yes she had fall, but at no fault of the facility. Lastly our visits are private and she looks fabulous on every visit ( FYI..The staff rarely knows when we are coming) .....Huge S/O to the 3rd floor staff. Especially Kevin, Monica, & Tonya. In closing my Aunt always speaks highly of what she says is HER housekeeper Jackie... Thank you Birch Manor.
