“Shamrock is pretty solid dive bar. Not dive bar chic like you see all over. It is an honest to god dive bar. Beers are cheap and staff is nice. Plenty of pool tables and bands regularly. Don’t skip on it if you like pool or dive bars. The regulars were super nice, too. One thing that really stood out is that Shamrock has in expensive food as well.”

But none of my siblings could support her care needs and though still really independent minded, no longer really able to live independently, that's when my Mom's oldest friend's daughter reminded us of the wonderful staff and residents at Esther's Place on Pinewood Ave- while there's nothing better than the recommendation of a close friend from actual experience, we still did a search and checked out options across the area and no one came close to the prompt, professional and insightful guidance we received from Leslie Hardesty and the warm and reassuring team at Esther's Place. We know we made the right decision when we speak to Mom and she is laughing and sharing stories of her new friends and hearing her tell us to call back, "she'll be HOME". We are so grateful.
