Ronnies Cajun Boudin & Cracklin's

Had a plate lunch here recently. One of the Thursday specials - BBQ pork steak. Came with dirty rice, mac n cheese and baked beans. Overall what a score. Most folks could make two meals out of this! Pork steak was a little dry and places but overall very enjoyable. We already plan to be back on a Monday for red beans. I'm a little on the fence about the boudin ball I had - it didn't seem to stand up to what I've had from west of the river, but I'm gonna be back for boudin only and get a better idea!

Amazing crawfish egg roles. We were ordering and there must have been confusion between us and the lady behind the counter. She turned our order in before I was done ordering. I missed out on pork crackling because she didn't take our full order, but it's their loss in profits. Nonetheless the food is amazing just have to accept a staff that are more interested in talking to one another than taking a customers full order.

I would move to LA and endure this miserable humidity and fight off gators and snakes just to have daily access to the PO Boy I ate there today. Good Lord that sammich was heavenly. First time ever having boudin! Thank you all very much.

Absolutely amazing. The cracklins are off the chain. The barbecue was great the dirty rice was awesome macaroni and cheese are the best I ever had and the baked beans were full of flavor.
