“I love Colyell Baptist Church and all of the members that attend church there. In the last few years, we have been blessed with a new pastor and a new youth minister. Our pastor of Colyell Baptist Church is Bro. Jeremy Glascock. He's a bold pastor that's not afraid of preaching the truth even if it's not easy. He is someone that has a deep love for God and for the people of our community. He's a preacher that you feel you can relate to and that understands our hardships. The youth minister is Bro Shain Picou. He's fun and someone the youth can relate to. He's someone they can talk to if they need sound guidance or wisdom. He's somebody that they can look up to and a great role model for the youth. He's close to the youth and has built great and lasting relationships with each of them. The youth group is very active in our community. They have a youth room that's open on Friday night's for a few hours and the youth meets there on Wednesday nights for bible study. They go on mission trips over the summer to help another church reach people within their community. Colyell Baptist is filled with a lot of loving, caring, and devoted Christians that love God and love people. Colyell Baptist Church is warm and inviting and feels like home to me.”
