“Grounds and building were nice. Upon entering was greeted with a flyer. Auditorium was beautifully decorated. I guess the pastor was out and associate pastor filling in, at any rate he was friendly and did a good job preaching. As far as the congregation only one other person introduced themselves and that was Phyllis, kudos Phyllis. Only real complaint I had is I sure like the KJV and they used the NIV. Used to be a day when you went to a Baptist church you knew they would be using the KJV. I know I am being old fashion but I do seriously prefer it. Over all a very nice church.”

Not only is "The Fudge" (our term of endearment) a staple for the locals, but because the charm of this historic drugstore has been lovingly restored, it's a mandatory pit stop for many tourists as well. I've recommended it as a perfect first date, with interesting menu items and an atmosphere that evokes a surprising joy from the moment you walk in.
