Jeff took his own time to resolve our problem which was much appreciated with both of us.”

John over at the Cemetery does a fantastic job making sure you're happy with the gravestones and vaults you receive for your loved one after they've passed on. Jimmy over at the Funeral home helps with making sure you are happy with the treatment of your loved one. Over all a positive experience during a sad circumstance. We were so impressed that we are checking into preplanning our funeral.”

Kayaks and canoes available, yard games, natural setting, nice restroom facilities w/showers, giant fire pit and pickle ball court, adult sized mesh swing by the lake, trail, grills, picnic tables ... Waverly Park

Address: 4800 Waverly Park Rd, Louisville, KY 40214, USA

Park

“Beautiful park with rustic playground, gazebos, pond, hiking and enclosed dog park. My kids love playing here and sense it's secluded there's not much traffic and very far from main roads so it's much safer for kids to be kids. It has a picnic table and benches next to the playground that are great to bring lunch and a hiking trail right beside the playground. So when we get tired of the playground and want to get messy in nature we take a hike. It's not to hilly for my 3yr old either.”

Wild Hyacinth Trail

Address: Louisville, KY 40299, USA

Park

“This is a fabulous hike. It's marked rugged but I would call it moderate. It's a bit confusing. There's a leg there's a straight shot perhaps the 1.5 MI marked on the sign. Then at the Louisville Loop, it connects to what might be another 1.5 MI that does circle around. There's sections on the circle that are confusing and branch off to areas of uncertain destination.”

Many local events are home to this ampitheater which is vastly underrated. If you need a quiet spot to sit and think or want to check out a local venue here... Or even rent a bike and go for a scenic ride this spot is one of a kind.”

Derby Park and RV Campground

Address: 2900 7th Street Rd, Louisville, KY 40216, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“Having lived in Louisville before and knowing this area, it's not the best of neighborhoods, but we felt safe enough. There was only one other camper there when we were there. Dante is there on site and is very kind and accommodating. There is Electric hookup right next to your camper, the dump station is around back and you will be guided to it. It's 20 bucks to dump. Simple place to stay. No fancy amenities. But it did the job. We would go back. We ended up riding scooters back and forth because we have a mobile home that we were using to stay in while we were vendors at the art festival at St James Court.”

Louisville Champions Park

Address: 2050 River Rd, Louisville, KY 40206, USA

“This is a very nice complex of indoor and outdoor sports with turf fields, several bathrooms with stalls for men, women, and families. There is wheel-chair accessible parking, nice turf fields and picnic tables.”

Paddocks at Ridge Park

Address: 6200 Paradise Ln, Louisville, KY 40258, USA

Park Real estate agency

“I have lived here for over 3 years. The complex used to be called Riverport Rand. However, now that the property is managed by Paddocks at Ridge Park, there have been several improvements. The complex has a new dog park and a playground. There are more dumpsters. The inside hallways and staircases of the buildings are freshly painted. The outside doors are brand new. Most recently, the parking lots were restriped. The landlord Ms. Jackie has been a blessing to the entire neighborhood . Thank you for the improvements.”

Hounz Lane Park

Address: 2300 Hounz Ln, Louisville, KY 40223, USA

Park

“Nice place for a picnic or round of tennis. They have small hiking trails and baseball fields, and with the entrance to Tom Sawyer being closed off, it's a nice fallback to go to and kick back and relax. The only negative I would have is that they don't spray for insects, so there are a lot of flies and mosquitos to contend with. I've seen deer in the area along with friendly squirrels, possums, and other wildlife around the area as well for the nature lovers. I go there a couple times a week because I live close-by, and it's a nice place to relax and reflect. I recommend this park for you and your families for a day out.”

The Parklands of Floyds Fork

Address: Beckley Creek Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40245, USA

Park

“What a beautiful park! There are great open spaces, access to trails and natural areas, and a dog park. There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly. There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room. If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.”

Long Run Park

Address: Long Run Park Rd, Louisville, KY 40245, USA

Park

“The park itself is beautiful with a lot of options. I was there to watch my son race (cycling). Saw people with kayaks, canoes, there's basketball and tennis courts. A super fun water feature for kids and a playground.”
