“Mr. Tillman is handling my dad's estate. It has been an incredibly difficult experience due to a lawsuit my dad had before he passed. Mr. Tillman has been there for me when the attorney handling the lawsuit hasn't. Right now I have nothing but good things to say about him right now. I will update if we are ever able to close the estate, but so far I have had a good experience with him.”

“What a blessing. When our father had a stroke years ago our family's life was changed forever. At first he was easily manageable at home, and he enjoyed being at home. He continued to have small mini strokes though, which caused a progressive dementia. About 3 years ago it became obvious that we would need to find a more safe environment for him. Luckily we found The Beehive of Smyrna, which is right down the road from where all of his children grew up and where he and our mother have lived for over 50 years. The Beehive has been such a blessing. The facility is clean, modern, welcoming and has a family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and caring towards the residents. I think my father gained a few pounds at first because he loved the food so much. He always seemed happy, and he was always well cared for. Of course it is a secured facility, but they provided us with a unique id for entry, and we could enter at any time and find the place exactly as mentioned above. When we visit, there are nice sitting areas to sit quietly away from other residents or there are some common areas we can sit with everyone. On weekends they have activities for the residents such as entertainers and DJs, and my Dad always seemed to enjoy these as well. During holidays they would have special holiday events. Also, my father is a Korean War Veteran, and they arranged for him to have a special military certificate and afterwards the staff had all in attendance to stand up and sing the Star Spangled Banner. It was a special moment. His dementia eventually progressed to the point that it became too difficult for the staff to care for him there and we needed to find a higher level facility for his safety. When that time came, they even helped us with that transition as well. After we left the facility, I would get texts asking how our father was doing and letting us know how much they miss him.Obviously, I highly recommend the Beehive of Smyrna, it felt like a home away from home for our Dad that deserved it and needed it at that time.”

“This is a place that by myself, family and friends is affectionately known as "the bait shop" because we almost literally grew up there. My dad would hang out and talk with other regulars and the owners Aaron and Freida Witt, all manor of "fishing" from the one that got away to the latest trip to a secret farm pond sometimes for hours on end. I would roam the aisles and learn of every piece of tackle that existed, lol. The new owner has kept it pretty much the same except for modernizing a few things. That said, this is a great place to go for all your outdoor and fishing needs and prices are comparable to anyplace else, maybe a bit less on some items. Go visit and I believe you won't be disappointed.”

“Heavenly Deliciousness! They do fill the chocolate or maple long johns and solid rounds with your choice of White Cream, Boston Cream, Raspberry, Lemon, and Chocolate! Apple fritters, bear claws, and cinnamon buns are as big as your face! I also get compliments on how hefty these are at our pre-work meetings, especially the filled donuts. Most of my co-workers can barely eat two at the most. Reasonably priced as well. This place is my new donut stop.”
