Kellie's Homestead Restaurant

Discovered this restaurant about a month ago. I make it a point to stop there on my way to Lexington. The food is great! The service is awesome. They have a nice little store and I've never been there at night but they have live entertainment. This restaurant is outstanding!

The service was excellent and the food very good. I had a Kentucky Hot Brown which was a little different from the usual recipe but was really good, especially the use of bacon crumbles instead of strips. My apple pie for dessert was very, very good. Several folks came in to pick up pies to go while I was there, so that may be one of their specialties. The gift shop adjacent was fun to browse, too.

We stopped here when passing through Kentucky a few days ago. Our wonderful server Jill was so sweet, always got us refills in good time, gave good recommendations as to whats the best here, and she didn't miss once! The food was great though I couldn't finish it all. If you come here, try the brussel sprouts, normally not a fan but the way they cook them is out of this world good.

My friends and I were visiting Kentucky for a weekend and we decided to stop by this place for lunch. It was a nice place which had a nice open space and a bakery shop at the corner. Really clean space with a lot of natural light coming in. They had these old time pianos which were really cool.

The food was good too. Had the cherry bourbon barbecue burger and a sweet ice tea. Service was a bit long for our group but still not too bad. Customer service was pretty good. Give this a try if you're visiting by Kentucky.

First time visiting! Great food! We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. I had the meatloaf and my husband had fried chicken. Both meals were awesome and the servings were large! The corn with bacon was delicious! Our waitress Veronica was very personable and welcoming after a long day of driving!
