“I love this place! My favorite vacation destination. Affordable, friendly, lgbtq+ friendly and just overall gorgeous landscape! Theres a little bit of everything. The creek is awesome for fossil hunting! I found the coolest fossil in my collection there. The animals are all amazing and sometimes you can pet the cows! Ayden and his team are top notch. friendly, compassionate and always able to help out. Fire wood was included in my campsite, which was at the bottom of a holler on a creek. Just gorgeous views and super peaceful. It was hot out, late summer, but it stayed cool down in the shady holler. Theres many campsites on various spots of the property and from what I could tell they all seemed pretty private. Theres a guest house if primitive camping isnt your thing. Pet and kid friendly! Ayden says he wants this place to be a safe refuge for his community. Go down and meet him and his team! I promise you'll love it there!”

“The place is going thru to total renovation to bring back the 1803 new look. They are in the middle of rebuilding the main level of the hotel to add back the bar and restaurant. It will be a fun place again.”

“We stayed at the campground at site 19. We were right behind the bath house. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was very quiet. Lots of wildlife was visible from our site. It was very nice. All spots have their own picnic table and nice fire pit. Will definitely be back.”

“This is a modern day trailer park. Children, music, grillin', laid back neighbors that like to drink a couple and play corn hole. Definitely a Neighborhood Crime Watch Community. The way three park is laid out and the trailers are angled makes for a bigger yard. Very nice set up.”

“A well maintained quiet campground. The process follows - drive straight in, staying to the right, and go by the bath house to fill your fresh water tank with potable water. Find your numbered site and plug in to power your trailer's water pump and lights. Enjoy. The sites going off to the right of the bath house are grassy and excellent for tent camping. The other sites are smoothed rock sites. 177 sites total - with 2 showers, 2 toilets, & 2 sinks for ladies, and 2 showers, 1 toilet, 1 urinal, & 2 sinks for men. There is also a dump station for the RV's. The only thing that was a nuisance was the train horns at different times through the night - which is something that the campground has no control over. Texts to the contact number were answered promptly. No on-site office and access is unrestricted.”

“Room was clean and decent. I was especially happy that the towels and sheets were nice and white. The bed was comfortable and the smelled fresh and clean. There are plenty of pillows, 4 on the bed. The shower floor needs some work. Bathroom floor was clean. Breakfast was a little sparce compared to the Comfort Inn in Madison. There are waffles, cereal, yogurt, apples one morning and juice and coffee. Ice machine needs cleaned. It smelled like mildew.”
