Blue Valley Pediatric Dentistry

We have been going to Blue Valley Pediatric Dentistry for over a year now and love the office, the staff, and the doctor. Our son (7 years old) had to have extensive work done on his teeth and the experience was great even though it was nerve wracking for us. Our daughter (4 years old) has only had to have routine cleanings but every time we go she is more relaxed at the visit. The staff talk to her and us which is so wonderful and I think helps the kids have a positive experience with the dentist. There are movies playing on the ceiling above the chairs so the kids have something to watch during their cleanings which is great as well.

I highly recommend this office!

Dr Vanessa is absolutely amazing. She talks to my daughter instead of at her and is a natural at making dental cleanings feel safe and engaging for a young one! Can’t recommend her enough!

Dr. Axelsen is beyond amazing. With all of my kids she has explained everything and made them feel comfortable and at ease. From the desk staff to the hygienist they take care of us and we feel at home. I would recommend to anyone. And worth the drive!

The staff was so welcoming, kind and patient. They took time to explain each tool and process to my 3 year old; and in a way that she could understand and process, as well as being her ease. They made references to current movies, and asked my daughter questions about things that interested her. They were excellent! My daughter is now obsessed with the dentist because our first experience was so positive! I would recommend this practice to anyone and everyone!

The procedure to put on a crown went smoothly and my daughter felt comfortable. They explained each step and tool they were going to use on her, which was a reassurance to her knowing what to expect. The ladies in the front did a great job setting up appointments and going over payment. Thank you!
