“We stopped here originally for a one night stop. We're still here. This park is an absolute gem. It's so clean and quiet. There is a beautiful little lake and creek. The sites are nicely spaced and fairly level gravel. The sites are electric only. There are water spigots and a dump station. Each site has a concrete pad with a picnic table and also a fire ring. There are also vault toilets in campground 3 and a brand new restroom/shower facility within walking distance. There is plenty of shade and beautiful trees. This is a definite return spot next time we are in Iowa.”

“It may be because it was cold out even though it's May 9th, but there was no one there which allowed the dog I was watching to run and play. The grass had been cut recently, it was clean throughout the park. There are the normal things for the kids to play on. Just a very nice little park.”

“Awesome campground. VERY clean. They have a bathroom with shower. Amazing playground a short walk away. Safe. You need a code to enter. The only reason I am not 5 stars about it, there are NO trees or anything for shade or privacy at the campsites. They do give you a good distance of space between sites tho. Also, it is only 15 minutes from the zoo!”

“It's cool. We go there at least twice a week to let the kids run around and play on the playground. I wish they would add an additional basketball court with two baskets instead of just one. The park is clean and well kept. I believe there are plans to expand the park in the near future.”

“This place is amazing! Highly recommend checking it out during the week when you have it all to yourself. Stunning views, intimate trails, some are pretty steep so wear appropriate shoes. Definitely bring bug spray!”

“My Hyundai Kona had some minor dents from hail. It wasn’t really noticeable but it bugged me enough to get my car repaired. I took it to Hail Specialist and they repaired my car and returned it to me in such a reasonable time. I’m 101% happy with the results.”
