Having a person to greet you at the door and that same person helping you with your purchase to your car is outstanding. I'm seeing a lot of new employees and they have been very professional. I've seen this at the 25th and Martin Luther King and the Georgetown Rd location. One store was a lot cleaner but I think they're working on that. Hats off to Family Dollar!!!!! The only problem is the teenagers that seem to think it's a playground 😕 I also made the mistake of going on a Sunday evening and the parking lot was overrun with cars, trucks, and motorcycles! I found it scary, no one would move out of my way, the were up next to my truck and I did not feel safe and not one single police officer there. I'm open to people enjoying their vehicles and congregating with others who share the same love of fancy cars. But not when they have no regard for anyone else.”

“Family Dollar is one of my favorite destinations when out looking to impulse buy or get decent prices on essentials. I'm a forever and always, born and bred small town gal and there is just something about this store and it's companion stores like DG (You ain't in a small town unless the place has one of each lol) that just feel inviting. The familiarity, the memories of being a kid and getting picked up at school by your favorite aunt or uncle and feeling so happy and carefree as they cruise you around to all the local shops for candy and cheap toys. What felt better as a child than someone you loved dearly spending the day with you that you didn't see regularly? Only thing better was when they smiled down at you after passing through the dinging doors and said, "Go on now honey, pick out whatever you want!"”

“Always a good place to shop. The new updates to the Rewards program are so much better. The possibility to save up to $2 off fuel, is a game changer. The first time I got $1 off fuel, felt so good. Fill up was just over $40, instead of $60 plus. Or members can choose products or dollars off the total purchase. My only issue was going to an older store, the fuel center "electronics" didn't want to work. Not just for me, other customers, or the employee who was outside trying her best to help everyone. I spent nearly 30 minutes and 3 different pump stations trying to get the system to work, with & without the employee. I quit, went to another location that was on my way home, worked quick & easily the first time.”
