“Everything was very clean and attractive. We were so impressed with all the amenities. Kids played basketball and tennis in the gym and loved it. Staff was so professional AND friendly. I stayed here several years ago and this best western has really up-ed their game. Only negative was the room was warm. I set the air system to the coldest setting but that wasn’t enough to make it comfortable. We were on the top floor. I’ll stay there again but ask yo not be on the top floor.”

“Stayed July 2018 -The owners were extremely nice and went out of their way to make it feel very homey and family friendly. The pool looked clean, nice & refreshing but unfortunately we didn't get to use it. We stayed here for a weekend trip to Indiana Beach. The beds were small but comfortable, I slept great. The air conditioning worked good, kicked off when cool enough and then would kick back on when the temperature went up. It was a window unit and was not loud at all. Great price for a quick family getaway, we would definitely stay here again!”

“Yes, it's close to the Indiana dunes amusement park. But why leave? With a pool, boats, games, and whatnot, all the family bonding time can be had right here in this rustic oasis. No waiting in lines. Just be sure to pack your toiletries (including hand soap) & towels. Relaxing with the family can't be beat.”

“Hubby and I stayed in #5 last night, super clean and cute room! Pool and hotbtub were great. Sat on the pier and fished most of the day. The room had everything you could think of. Bring bottled water to drink and brush teeth, unless you like well water. If you have issues with stairs, this is not the place to be. Lori was really nice, very helpful. I would love to see a shelf or something put into the shower to hold items and a railing along the path. Will definitely tell people about this place! You can tell whoever decorated/stocked really put thought into everything a family could need.”

“This is place is the BEST and its this way because of the owner, Kelly, who honestly loves her job and all her guests. Dockside is the cleanest resort. there are cottages and motels to fit everyone. We haven been going to Indiana Beach for over 35 years and stayed here and since Kelly took over 2 years ago, its even better. So much to do. Pool, dock, fishing, kayak, boating, fire pits, wood, bikes, games and the list goes on. Kelly is the BEST and dockside is a great experience.”

“We go here every year. It’s a great family spot. Sandy and Scott run the place and they are very nice and welcoming. Anything you need , their there. We were in cabin 2 and the view of the lake is beautiful. Very rustic and relaxing. Also if you don’t want to barbecue and want take out, try the Saloon down the street. Great food!”

“New management. Rooms were clean. New linens and drapes in the lower apartment rooms; can't speak about the upper rooms since we did not rent them. Pool was crystal clear although a little cool. The owner and staff are working hard to return the Riviera to the busy resort it used to be. Give the Riviera a try.”
