We have wanted to try this place since it opened and we were not disappointed. Their menu is solid and unique from typical lake country fare, unique in a delicious way. When we go back we plan on trying one of their signature cocktails. We visited during what might be considered not prime time and the service was as attentive as it would be during a weekend afternoon or night. We plan on going back.

We absolutely love this place! Old location, and the new one. By far the best cocktails in town served by incredible bartenders and staff. The peanut noods have become my new favorite item, but the rib tips and chicken skewers are always a must have. The Thai salad is absolutely fantastic!!! GET A SOUP ANY SOUP THEY ARE ALL EXCELLENT! To make your experience even better get a smoked old fashion or a signature, lavender whiskey sour or the cucumber, basil gimlet. It is a busy place (for good reason), so be prepared to wait a little bit, but it is well worth the wait! Go on a Monday night and enjoy live music, you won’t be disappointed. The food is wonderful, the staff is fun and accommodating, and we are always treated like family.

One of the best places on Lake James! Food is excellent, staff is friendly and hustles and the place has a great vibe!

NOTE: If you're considering this place it should be your destination for the evening (come for the great food, it will take longer because everything is made from scratch, so while you're waiting for your dinner, enjoy the live music and hand crafted cocktails, chat with the owner (she’s great!) check out their amazing bourbon selection - one of the largest in the entire country. However if you are trying to grab dinner and drinks quickly on your way to do something else, expecting to get in and out in under an hour... you'd be better off hitting the Mexican place around the corner so you're not disappointed with the timing of things. Hand crafted & homemade take time so come for the experience and don’t be in a rush and you’ll find out why the locals LOVE The 6!

We really love the new place. The food is always good and the servers are great. Finally add the live music for a great evening.
