“Appalachian Cabin is a fantastic cabin. Sleeps 6 in very large bedrooms. The 2 baths (1 with garden tub) are nice and large for a group. The main living area and kitchen is huge with plenty of room to accommodate guests with no problems. Dishwasher full size refrigerator and stove and microwave are all available for use. Extremely clean, with a setting inside a woods just off the road for easy access. Plenty of dishes, glass ware and stem ware are available. There is nothing wrong with having my coffee in the morning and watching the pilated and downy woodpeckers in the trees. We are talking 10 to 20 of the little buggers, not a couple. The pond is at the bottom of the hill and not a bad hike up or down...the entire cabin and setting is peaceful and tranquil for anyone who wants to get away from home. Not a bad jaunt to Bloomington or Nashville Indiana with many things to keep one occupied. I give this 5 stars, Mary and Bridget together are wonderful to work with when making your reservations. I recommend calling them to make a first time reservation, or if you have specific needs.”
