“To give a fair and honest review I made sure I had driven the car for a bit as well as taken it for inspection at Toyota. Mike was very pleasant to work with. He was very informative throughout the entire process and gave me previous service record. He’s a very straightforward person so I was in and out within a few hours. I had already settled financing with my bank so the purchasing process was simple, especially being a first time buyer. I have been driving the car for almost a week (about 100 miles so far) and have had no major issues. The only issue I’ve experienced so far is that the key fob doesn’t lock the driver side (even after changing batteries) and the hood doesn’t latch properly (needs more force than normal). I bought this car with significant miles on it (about 130k) so these are not major concerns for me. I took the car to Toyota for an inspection and everything checked out fine with nothing needing immediate replacement or attention. So far the only thing I’ve had to do was an oil change and pump the two rear tires. The car was well kept and clean upon purchase so I recommend them!”

I live and work on the Northside, and choose to drive the 25mi and take a day off work to return to the Greenwood service dept rather than have a 2nd experience at the Infiniti shop 1/4 mi from my office location due to a bad first experience there. “Was recently a victim of the Covid and was laid off. On my second day off, my glasses frame broke. I took it into South Grove hoping they could fix it as I no longer have insurance. Unfortunately, they could not be fixed. I explained my situation and the person I was talking to who conferred with another tech ( apologize I can't remember their names) and offered to replace my frame with one they had on hand that was the same style at no cost. I was very appreciative of the offer and accepted. They had to do some minor shaving of the lens to get it to fit and when I went to pick them up the next day, Barbara came out and said they would also replace my scratched lens at no charge. Needless to say this was way beyond my expectations and very, very much appreciated. South Grove and their people have a customer for life, thank you all.”

“I returned to buy my second nearly-new vehicle from these folks - 2019 Fusion. I upgraded from car I purchased from Skillman two years prior. My salesman, Johnny, took really good care of me again and had two cars waiting for me to test drive when I arrived. Stephanie in loan processing was very quick and responsive to my questions and took time over the phone to browse through the internet inventory. Skillman is a trustworthy name in my book and I will continue returning (until I can't drive anymore). The Skillman family has also been very generous in the community with funding school projects and many other worthy causes. The only slight criticism I have is the somewhat aggressive sales pitches from the guy who finalized my loan. He argued with me over my declining to purchase GAP insurance from him, and I was already tired (from long day at work) and just wanting to sign and leave. This will not stop me from returning, but they need to train this individual better of the meaning of "no."”
