“This was the perfect getaway for our family! The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped to hold our family of 7. We wanted nature to be our entertainment and it did not disappoint! We ditched the electronic devices and spent time outside, in the hot tub, hiking, and building fires. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table, and spent alone time in the hammock. We are incredibly grateful that we booked at Acre Ridge and we will definitely be back!”

“Amazing location, TONS of privacy (39 acres!!), great views, and a cozy house! We just got back from a five night stay here and it was incredible. The only thing I would suggest if you’re staying long term, want to use the kitchen a lot, and are used to a certain quality of cookery and cutlery, maybe bring some of your own stuff from home. Other than that, they have everything you need here. If you’re grilling out the next door neighbor’s dog Joesie might come say hi 🐶, but don’t let her inside or feed her scraps! 10/10 stay, can’t wait to return.”

“This was our 3rd stay over the years. We so appreciate the many touches of home (dry firewood, well equipped kitchen, new gas grill, pristine hot tub, etc.). The thoughtful extras were so appreciated ... lotion, plenty of TP, paper towels, soap, etc. Truly how I would set things up for a friend to visit. We've stayed at many cabins and VRBOs and by far, this is the best! We plan to come back.”

“Our town and shops are awesome but we need to start catering also to families. We need fun things for kids in our little town. We need things like putt-putt golf or an outdoor water park, something to draw families in to our town for business! Some shops are more geared to the younger to middle-aged families which we need to be able to draw them in to our town. It's spring break time but what is here for kids? Kids don't like to shop right.”

“He may of been scared to ride the ponies but the operator that day allowed him to walk the ponies around the trail and he absolutely loved every minute of it.. they also have trail riding at a very reasonable price which o absolutely love... they are very informative and allow you to pick which horse it is that you would like to ride”

“Stayed through Hills O' Brown for our 1 year, and had a wonderful time. Day one we came through and there was a heavy storm and the cabin had lost power, so we had to stay in touch with the after hours manager for a few hours but they eventually were able to help us out and did find a second cabin for us we could stay in and offered us a few extra incentives for being nice and understanding about it all even though they didn't have too. Throughout the stay and booking, I talked with about 5 different employees and they all were wonderful and they were more than helpful through everything and helped. I really have nothing bad to say and that there is a good chance we'll come back to staying some time. We were originally at Cabin Fever and then moved to Covered Bridge and they were both very cozy and wonderful.”

“This place is the best! Every time we stay here, no matter which room we get, i just cant keep my face out of the picture windows. We attended a wellness-day seminar there recently with yoga classes, a writing seminar, and a social function with music. This place is a jem, and by far the best place in Nashville to stay. Way better than a hotel! Private everything, cozy fire, covered bridge within hiking distance, fresh air, great view! We will definitely be back for the summer retreat! The great lodge is crazy-awesome!”

“Absolutely loved our time here! It was a wonderful time with family - we played bags out back (brought our own), had fires at night with s'mores and fire roasted hot dogs, enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna, and oh my gosh, the tire swing! The little ones were tickled pink feeding the goat and donkey... just a wonderful getaway altogether! The owner was easy to reach and kind to deal with. I am really hoping to return this summer.”
