Laura Hare Nature Preserve at Downey Hill

Address: Valley Branch Rd, Nashville, IN 47448, USA

Park Zoo

“Excellent loop trail. Single track the entire length. Shaded throughout. There are several small, easy stream crossings throughout. These make nice water breaks for your furry friends which are allowed on this trail when leashed. Very interesting trail. Lots of ravines to loop around as well as ups and downs throughout. There are also several man made wells that have protective fence around them, and a couple of small, man made ponds. Very enjoyable hike. Only a couple of small wet areas to navigate. I'm sure that varies by the weather, but overall it should have good drainage.”

“We have been twice now and absolutely love it! The wolf dog was as sweet as can be and all of the other animals were amazing to see and pet. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable. The owner is incredibly friendly. We will definitely be coming back again!”
