New Haven Adams Twp Parks Rec

Address: 1702 Glencoe Blvd, New Haven, IN 46774, USA

Park

“Kids love making crafts at the craft shack, great swimming lesson instructors.”

ACRES Land Trust

Address: 1802 Chapman Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748, USA

Park

“Not a bad little hike. Once the trail fades a bit into just foot trails the brush and bugs get pretty bad. Even with repellent on they are bad out in the sticks as some would say. But the place itself is really nice.”

Shoaff Park

Address: 6401 St Joe Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835, USA

Park

“Sweet park and disc golf course! They have a lot of nice shade trees on a good part of the course. The park has 2 sets of swings and multiple play areas as well as slides and things to climb on. If you have little toddlers keep a close eye though, cause there's some tall parts they could fall from. 😄 They have a splash pad, drinking fountain, covered picnic area, and bathrooms (I believe they're the flushable kind). It's usually pretty busy so hold on to your valuables and keep an eye on your kids.”

Fogwell Forest - ACRES Land Trust

Address: 9630 Whippoorwill Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46809, USA

Park

“Bit muddy but it is February. Nice scenic field walk into forest. Looks like lots of trees down due to wetness or wind or both. Nice stopping places for rests or whatever. Overall nice long walk, nice area.”

Huntertown Family Park

Address: 2303 Woods Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748, USA

Park

“It was a warm day in February so we made our way over to the Huntertown dog park. What a joy to be able to spend time outdoors with other dog owners and all the dogs had a great day. It is nice that it is available and no “membership” is required. Everyone was really nice and the dogs had a great day. When the weather is in transition laying some straw in the really muddy spots would be a great way to keep the mud to a dull roar!! Either way, it was a fun day.”

Leo-Cedarville Town Park

Address: 9825 St Joseph St, Leo, IN 46765, USA

Park

“My sister and new brother in law were married in the lovely indoor pavilion. The huge fireplace and exposed wood beams are beautiful, and could be decorated to be a little elegant or charmingly rustic. There is a kitchen for the catering company to do what they need to do. They had only about 40 guests, and the room was full, so it's great for smaller events. The only thing I didn't care for was the restrooms for the park are located in the small lobby right outside the doors for the space, and one mom and her kids actually came into my sister and brother in law's rented space to use the bathrooms that are for that space, which is completely unacceptable. Also, the noise from the lobby and playground very nearby was loud at times. Overall, very nice, but it should be posted clearly in the lobby that park guests are not to enter the event space, and sound proofing wouldn't hurt.”

Metea Park North

Address: 7970-8118 Hursh Rd, Leo, IN 46765, USA

Park

“Beautiful place, unfortunately people have littered it up, but it is very worth the trip. It's a great place to get in touch with nature. I also advise that you dress appropriate to the weather. If it has rained within the week I would wear some rain boots and clothes you don't mind getting muddy. Also remember your car, you will have to get back in it, mud is a problem.”

Tillman Park

Address: 600 E Tillman Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46816, USA

“Great little spot to stop and have a picnic on our road trip. We watched the Frisbee golfers as we relaxed in the shade”

Greenlawn Memorial Park

Address: 6600-6858 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, USA

“Greenland did an excellent job of managing one of the toughest moments in our family's lives. Eliza was fantastic and covered every detail and then executed them with perfection. I was so pleased with how my father's final memorial went. I would strongly recommend Greenlawn to everyone.”

Vandolah Nature Preserve - ACRES Land Trust

Address: 16151 Tother Rd, Leo, IN 46765, USA

Park

“I really enjoyed my hike here and got to see a deer drinking from a stream within just a few feet from me! The only downfall was I'm just starting to hike and got lost out there for a while. There aren't really any signs along the paths and with there not being just one to take, it got confusing. If you're a pro, you'll love it! If you're a beginner like me, REMEMBER LANDMARKS!!!”

Kreager Park

Address: 7225 N River Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, USA

“Taylor's Dream is a fun park. Spread out with space for kids to move. Well organized with a section geared towards smaller kids with a smaller climbing play area and swings on one side and a separate play area with climbing swings etc on the other side brought together by a splash pad between them. There are additional swings nearby with a dinosaur skeleton that is fun for climbing on and under along with a game set up where you have to think fast to tap your color as it comes up on the various screens around the circle. It is a good places to bring your kids and to meet up with other families.”

“Love this park! It's what i call mama friendly. If your kids changes his mind and wants to go back into the water/playground you don't have to pack tent and all cross the fence in area to keep an eye on him. The wet area and dry area has a good shaded piece too! We were in 100° and was comfortable! We will return most definitely!”
