“Great little Will county forest preserve district campground. No electricity but there is drinking water and latrines on site. The wooded sites can each accommodate 6 tents and it's arranged so that most tents can have their own little space. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. There's a central area of mowed grass out in the open which is 2 more campsites that you can put multiple tents on. There are some short walking/equestrian trails and a nature center in the preserve. It's clean and maintained. And I was the one there camping on a Friday and Saturday night in June! The wooded sites are not drive-up so a wagon came in handy.”

“The James S. Boan Woods park is part of the Bolingbrook Park Districts series of city parks throughout Bolingbrook. This park has a large shelter with picnic tables under it. There are permanent toilets here. The parking lot seems way too big for the park, but that just makes it easy to park there. The Bolingbrook Park District Community Garden is at this same location. The Hidden Oaks Conservation Area is nearby.”

“Good seating available, nice open space to sit and enjoy nature for a bit, and easily accessible by a nearby walking path. If you have kids the playground is very nice, and if you're dog walking there's a dispenser for waste bags nearby.”

“What an amazing nature playground! It’s everything we were looking for as an escape from the city. Lots of open-ended opportunities for gross motor movement and natural play. We could have spent hours there! The center itself is also wonderful, with all kinds of activities for kids and great window benches for parents. Note that although the center closes at 4, the playground (located just behind the big beautiful nature center building) is open until sundown, and there are restrooms accessible from outside.”

“It’s a pretty good woods and field! The field is very large and open so it is great for games like kickball, football, wiffleball, etc. The woods are ok it isn’t the largest forest but it is good if you just want to go for a walk.”

“Hello welcome to my review of Haines Park in New Lenox Il! I grew up visiting this park often. It's a large partially wooded park that has a 10 hole frisbee gold course on it. The park itself is nice and even has a play areas for pets You better Go before you leave the house, because their bathrooms are not functional. They have plenty of room in their gazebos with picnic tables, community Grill, and a real official size volleyball net! One to thing to watch out for is the wooded areas and the dirt paths in it, sadly theres an ocean of broken glass in that area. The noise level is quiet and peaceful, no traffic near by.”

“I liked that it was a bigger park behind a neighborhood close to the high school in Bolingbrook. Has a few trails, nice fields and has a cages area with soccer goals. The only negative was how much garbage there was everywhere or maybe from kids that play sports over there.”
