“I haven't lived in Illinois for more than two weeks and I am struck with a tooth infection. I know it's a tooth infection because I have had them before. I am nearly certain I need antibiotics because normal pain meds won't fix it. In my experience, by not getting antibiotics this has led to complications in the past. Being new to the state, my first course of action was to go to the ER closest to my house. I sat in the waiting room after registration for an hour, while my fiance spent that time calling around urgent cares and other ER's. A person at this ER answered and said they had short wait times. It was a Sunday afternoon. In the time it took us to drive 20 minutes from the first ER to this one, and to be registered, seen by nurses, then a doctor was quicker than just waiting for triage in the other ER. The nurses as well as registration were kind. The doctor examined my mouth. I was in a lot of pain at this point. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics and I was excited to get this infection out of my body!! Unfortunately for me, over the course of Monday and into Tuesday afternoon, the initial course of antibiotics didn't do the trick. This infection is a fierce one and has spread the pain from my tooth ache to my face. It has swollen my cheeks to my neck. At this point I got pretty freaked out because I knew someone who had their abscessed tooth infection go into their neck and almost kill them. So as per previous instructions, if after 24 hours of taking the meds the swelling persists then return to ER. I woke up Tuesday morning with a fat face. Called my fiance at work to take me to the ER, and once he was able to escape work he came to deliver me to the ER. Once there I was greeted by two people, checked in. Saw some familiar faces from two days prior. Spoke to a doctor who was very kind and knowledgeable about my tooth infection. She and I spoke about options to treat my infection and now I am on the track to getting better. Still at the pharmacy lol.”

“I honestly can’t say enough good things about these guys. I primarily worked with Alex and he got me a great deal on a used bike I’ve been trying to get my hands on for a couple of years now. I drove 5 hours each way to get it and they made every part of the process painless and quick despite being packed and understaffed that particular weekend I was in there. They made sure to communicate with all customers that were there waiting, without causing any delay on handling my purchase. “Update Nov 14th: My my my, the cinnamon roll is the best I've ever had. The filling is great, although I would add raisins for an option. The cinnamon is pleasant and doesn't overpower the roll. It's soft and flaky along with great icing, nit to mention the size and price. Bismark donut was soft, and the filling was just right along with the chocolate. I just wish they had vanilla as well. You can't go wrong with any of their parties as they are delightful and delicious too. Will let you know about the carrot cake soon. Lordy lordy, it took me too long to stop. Don't do what I did and get your butt in there, people. Wish I had more time to visit as I stopped in going to work. Choices, choices, and way too many. I even ordered one more pastry after checking out, ha ha. So my downfalls today were carrot cake slices, Bismark donuts, king Carmel roll, and my favorite yummy 😋 Big Cinnamon roll. There is so much more to choose from Danish, cookies, donuts, and donut holes from my quick glance only. Didn't have takeout menus, but you can view it online. Staff was warm & welcoming along with being so nice to their customers 😊 I can't say enough good about their Bakery, next chance breakfast. Oh, did I forget to mention they serve breakfast too. That's why I bring you more about their restaurant and breakfast. Please support local family legacies businesses. Enjoy, just once at least you'll be so happy you tried these homemade delights.”

“When I hear a confident claim like it's better than Giordanos, that's quite eyebrow-raising. But it's true!! I had the Uncle Tony's. A medium size is 6 slices. Being quite hungry, I could put back three, but no more. They're not shy on the marinara which I like to help balance out the cheese in a deep dish format. It's bright and flavorful. The crust is so delicious too. There's a mild sweetness and buttery there complexity that is unmatched. What luck running into this place!”
