“The staff is friendly and helpful, plus in my opinion Shell gas, especially the V-Power 93 octane, is the best gas for your car or truck. When you use a higher octane, it burns hotter in the combustion chamber, helping to keep your car's engine cleaner. I've been a mechanic for 38-yrs. It does hurt to try one tank full of 93 V-Power. It will not hurt your car or truck. Plus they have a restroom,food and refreshment if so desire.”

“It was a Thursday night, and Smiley and I were driving my rig up I-80 when we decided we needed to recharge. We pulled into this truck stop. The first thing we noticed was that the clock on the tower was wrong. So it didn’t quite give off Big Ben vibes like they got over in London. We get inside and it’s a rather spacious setup. Great selection of snacks and beverages. Plus various novelty decals for your rig. I already have a big number 3 with a halo and angel wings in honor of the late, great Dale Earnhardt on my Kenworth so I passed. We grabbed our milk and our candy and we’re about to blow this honkytonk when something captivated our attention — the glimmer of the slot machines conveniently placed right by the exit. I looked over at Smiley and we knew what needed to be done. There was one game in particular that really caught our attention: Gorilla Chief. We decided to give it a shot in honor of Harambe. Unfortunately, the Chief ran our racks down after about 20 minutes of pure enjoyment. This ain’t it Chief. However, the Chief did teach us a valuable lesson, and that is that sometimes it’s not about the licks you hit financially, it’s about the licks you hit in your heart. A lot of versatility in that you can get a cheap sandwich from Subway, or go to their inner bakery The Doughnut Emporium for a fresh donut and a cup of coffee. Prices aren't always the highest in the area, but their convenient location, Redbox, and all around plentiful selection make this my preferred gas station.”
