“Da Capo offers conservatory trained teachers in flute, piano, and guitar. The level of professionalism here is seldom matched in the western suburbs. Students are taught proper technique and musicianship in a fun and creative environment. (guitarists learn to read music, which is rare) Recital and other performance opportunities are available often. My family has been attending Da Capo for more than 5 years and we are extremely pleased with our progress. Highly Recommended!”

“My daughter, who is now in kindergarten, attended Swing Set Preschool for two years. She truly blossomed while at Swing Set! I was hoping that preschool would provide the socialization that I felt my daughter needed prior to Kindergarten -- Swing Set provided that and so much more! “We are a family with three young girls who moved to St. Charles one year ago. We since have chosen to make Lord of Life Church our home. It is truly a humble community of believers who aim to center their lives on God’s love and purpose. It is a place that is full of life! And perfect for young families. They make every effort to provide childcare for any circumstance that would help parents feel good about participating in bible studies or small groups. They also have all kinds of family events that bring members together allowing friendships to form so easily. Food and coffee served after every Sunday service in the Solid Rock Lodge provides a nice opportunity to catch up with friends each week. We particularly enjoy the format of the Sunday morning service. We attend the 10:00 service where our kids sit with us and we can enjoy singing together with the amazingly gifted music team whose humble demeanor highlights their God-given talents that much more! Their leadership makes us feel as if we as a congregation are worshiping together, not just watching a show. Then after a children’s message the kids are escorted to Sunday school, allowing parents to actually listen to the sermon! This time that my husband and I get to sit together without distraction is rare at this stage of our lives and it has become something we both look forward to each week. Part of the reason we enjoy it so much is because Pastor Matt takes an academic approach to his sermons and we very much appreciate the actual history that he teaches, often-times with maps and other references that explain the context and solidify the legitimacy of the events recorded in the bible, always wrapping up with how to apply those lessons to our modern lives. Finally, our favorite perk of Lord of Life is that they serve communion every week. We’ve attended several churches, and in our experience, this is something that is rare. Because communion is such an important part of our relationship with Jesus we feel we’ve found something really special in this church.
