I will say, the people at the station were not very helpful. If we had not done research on the fly, we would not have known some things to ask about. Glad we checked before relying on them to give us all the information. Poor experience. I appreciate your hard work, and a very hard job that I would not do. But give people ALL of the information up front. Helps them out. And makes you look like great people. I still respect all policemen in any town. Bummer when things like this happen.”

My father in-laws car died and it needed a jump start, however I was unable to move the car out of the parking spot. So Front Desk Officer got permission from the Sergeant on Duty and had me transferred to dispatch where Officer Don Eaton came to the rescue and assisted in getting the car jumped. I am extremely pleased and happy to be a Rolling Meadows Resident. The Police Officers are doing an amazing job in not only protecting the citizens of Rolling Meadows but also going above and beyond in assisting with Community Related Non Criminal help. “This morning I called the non emergency number of the Chandler Police department to ask for a wellness check on my 50 year neighbor who had recently lost her mom, had not answered the door in a day and kept her hose running all night. They came by and couldn’t have been more understanding, and that includes the young lady who answered the phone when I called. With much knocking and persistence the cops finally got my neighbor to answer her door. She’s ok. Thank you to everyone involved.”

“My car ran out of gas this morning. Today is February 26, 2020. I was afraid at first to call the police to help me with my disabled vehicle. Whomever the dispatcher was, she made me feel calm even though I was nervous. On my way to work I ran out of gas on Sibley Blvd. A police officer by the name of Lorenzo N. came to the rescue in less than 5 minutes. He first tried to push my vehicle out of traffic. Then he took me to the Citgo gas station up the street. He then filled my can, drove me back to my car and put the gas inside my vehicle for me. Within that small length of time I shared with him a little bit about myself (old lady lol) I guess I'm trying to say, it was an awesome experience without anxiety and being overwhelmed which I suffer from.”
