“In one word: affluence. It is very easy to notice monetary affluence in this school district, but it comes with affluence in programming and opportunities. Not the most diverse school by ethnicity, with around 10% being of an ethnic minority as of 2015 (my graduating year). As long as you can get over or ignore people that want to flex monetary wealth, you will see that this school oozes excellence. Whether it be sports, theater, science, or any other kinds of extracurricular activities, New Trier is a great place for students to learn and grow. Even if you are not the most wealthy family, the school is accommodating to students that need financial aid. I would definitely recommend sending your child here.”

“I have been extremely impressed by this preschool. My son did not have the greatest experience at his school in the city, and boy, what a difference here. The teachers are very experienced. They clearly know what young children need to feel safe and engaged and learn in ways that are relevant and meaningful to them. My son comes home talking about Japan, different species of birds and all kinds of interesting topics with a sparkle in his eye. He loves going to school now. He (and I) are making wonderful friends. I feel confident every time I drop him off that he is in the right place. Besides all of this, Willow Wood is simply a very special place. “I really enjoyed taking courses here during my 9 year tenure, although the U.S. history course wass extremely hard to comprehend. But eventually I had to quit because they removed all the mail boxes from the area and I didn't have anyone with whom I could send my assignments. I always dreaded having to quit because of that. Even though studying by correspondence could be very challenging, most of the courses in this institution are very interesting and informative. I also enjoyed studying here quite alot because all the staff here is very friendly and helpful. For example, when you call your teachers to explain the assignments to you they do it in a very patient and friendly manner without rushing you in spite of the fact that they are very busy helping all the tons of students they have here and in spite of the fact that you are calling them from a really long distance. I sincerely hope that this institution remains in business forever so that those who know how to study online can do so without any difficulty until the day they die if they so choose.”

“It all started when my fiancé and I – two people who have never danced before – decided we wanted to do something more than stand and sway for our first dance at our wedding. We decided to try out an introductory lesson at the Ballroom Dance Center. We were surprised by how much fun we had! That first lesson exceeded our expectations in every possible way and we were hooked! We ended up not only taking dance lessons for our first dance together, but also for our father-daughter dance and mother-son dance. We cannot say enough nice things about Sylvia! She choreographed three unique dances that were appropriate for our skill level and athletic abilities. My father had recently had his shoulder replaced, and Sylvia adapted our dance in a way that would not aggravate his injury. Sylvia is so gifted when it comes breaking down a dance in a way that is manageable. We never felt overwhelmed when we were learning our dances. As two busy people working hard and planning a wedding, we were so grateful that Sylvia was flexible and would work around our schedule. Sylvia is a joy to work with, she is knowledgeable, creative and fun. We also appreciated her amazing sense of humor and infinite patience. Dancing has become such a special part of our lives. We are so pleased with our experience at the Ballroom Dance Center and we would highly recommend it! We can’t wait to start taking regular dance lessons again after our honeymoon.”
