Knute Rockne Stadium

Address: 1117 S Central Ave, Chicago, IL 60644, USA

Stadium

“The field doesn't look like much for the players to play on but the site lines for fans are perfect. If you sit facing west in the summer you will need sunglasses or even an umbrella so that you can see. If you sit facing east you will need an umbrella to block the sun from behind unless you sit higher up by the scoring booth for shade.”

Stadium

“I've been going to professional baseball games my entire life and Guaranteed Rate Field is by far one of the nicest and cleanest stadiums I've been to! The seats were comfortable, they had tons of delicious concessions, the prices were reasonable, the parking was good, and the stadium is well located. I also like that they do little perks. For example, just because my wife and I were one of the first few thousand in the stadium, we both received very nice White Sox hats. Overall, we had a nice experience and we definitely plan on coming back.”

The stadium served as the home of the Chicago White Sox of the American League from 1910 through 1990. Built by White Sox owner Charles Comiskey and designed by Zachary Taylor Davis, Comiskey Park hosted four World Series and more than six thousand Major League Baseball games. Also, in one of the most famous boxing matches in history, the field was the site of the 1937 heavyweight title match in which Joe Louis defeated then champion James J.
