“Back in Rhode Island 2017, my three year old boy missed his opportunity to climb aboard a fire truck. I knew he would regret it and he did. It was a dream of his that he would often ask me about. Four years later after having moved to Meridian…his dream came true one day when the guys from station #2 showed up on my street. My super talkative boy was so awe-struck that he was literally speechless. The guys pulled him up inside the truck, gave him a sticker, a hat, and a full tour!!!!! Little did my son know that I was living a childhood dream through his eyes too. These guys totally made our day and left a wonderful memory. May God continue to bless and use these local heroes.”

“The E8 crew responded to our house fire and did an awesome job. We weren't home and our fur kids were inside. For some reason they didn't go out the doggie door. They not only saved the dogs but moved furniture carefully and covered it before hitting the living room with water. They were amazing.”

“There is a group of firefighters that used to go to Reed's dairy for milkshakes on the weekends. This firefighter took my 2 year old son on the truck and he has never been the same. His life seems to revolve around firefighters. He is about to turn 3 and he doesn't care about the ice cream, he just can't stop looking for the fire trucks when we go. His name is Jay and he tells me non-stop that he is going to be a firefighter. We love and appreciate our Kuna Firefighters.”

“Great bunch of guys came to help me get my poor mom out of tub. She is 85 and was mortified. Before calling, we tried everything we could think, I even googled helpful hints while waiting for her friend to arrive to assist. Two of us tried various techniques. Nope. Had to call Fire Station 2 (Greenhurst). They came quickly, respected my mom's wishes for no siren. Had her out in less than a minute! Kind, respectful and even showed me how to properly wrap my arms around someone in a similar situation. We so appreciate their service to us and the community. Thanks-you saved the day!!”
