I am a mom and my best "oral health mom advice" is to start flossing at a young age, brush gently and often, avoid sugar and tobacco and do everything in your power to NEVER need a periodontist. But, if you end up needing a periodontist I hope you call Dr. Hansen. Truly, Dr. Hansen and his staff are incredible. Dr. Hansen has amazing bedside manor and his skill and results are exceptional. “Dr. Portela is an amazing surgeon. He recently performed Mohs on my forehead and it required a lot of stitches to close me up. It was not an easy surgery since it was in the same location I already had a lot of scar tissue due to a prior surgery. Three weeks later and I can't believe how well it's healing. His work is top notch. Highly recommend Dr. Portela if your skin requires surgery. He spent extra time pre-op and during the procedure to ensure we would both be pleased with the results.”
