“Friendly, warm and loving church. I visited this church on a morning I was not feeling well. From the Sunday School Teacher to the pastor all were friendly and greeted me as if I were family. The pastor, Rev. Bone gave a inspiring message. I loved the mixture of modern Christian songs and hymns from the choir. The adult Sunday school which started at 9:15 was very welcoming and I have started to look forward to getting up on Sunday morning just to make that class. They invite you to participate freely and make you feel at home at this church. I would and have recommended that if you do not have a church home and want a family environment, this is the place!.”

“All around five stars. Bartender served me a lovely peach crown sour, served with some loaded chili tots, now normally I hate chili but on these tater tots, very good. Music was also great and the crowd really vibed well with the musicians creating a wonderful connected atmosphere. Truely an experience that made me understand why bars can be so great.”

“Wonderful customer service! Old fashioned hole in the wall feel! The food is Divine, A true taste of Cambodian eats in covington. One cook and one cashier, both were super kind and really welcoming. I'm definitely coming back! But be sure to order ahead if you're in a rush! Especially for large orders, I think on the weekends they have more staff! Edit: a few of the items aren't available any more- like the salads and the chicken sticks. Definitely call ahead, they can help you out with your order!”

“Just be aware of the Porterdale Police! They sit there in the Burger King parking lot right beside the store, just looking for people they can harass. They also sit across the street at the Shell Station. It's really horrible and just plain wrong! All of the local businesses agree that it is a major problem and is very bad for business because many people who are aware of this problem will not stop there. Many people also say that it's very risky just to pass by there while driving on hwy 81! I definitely appreciate and respect our police officers who are out there doing their jobs and putting their lives on the line to PROTECT and SERVE us everywhere across this country. But unfortunately, there are a few out there who just like to abuse their authority by harassing and bullying innocent citizens. This location I am referring to is right there on the edge of the small, historical city of Porterdale, where they will look for a reason to pull you over, and then find any reason they can to write you a ticket! For example... Maybe you're just simply driving 2 miles over the speed limit. Or possibly for no reason at all. It's just sad and ridiculous! And it's been going on for too many years and way too long! You can ask anyone who has lived in Newton County for a while and they will verify what I'm saying. Or if you want to take the chance, just go to Burger King and sit down and eat, and as you look out the window for only a few minutes, you will sadly witness this injustice that occurs every day. I can only pray that I won't get into trouble or be "punished" in retaliation for this post. But I believe in doing the right thing, and speaking up and informing innocent people who are not aware of this. That is the only reason why I don't feel like I should rate this store with 5 stars. The employees who work there are great people, and are very friendly! Good prices! And they are conveniently open 24/7.”
