“I have no idea how anyone could give this place a bad rating. My wife and I went camping here for two nights over the weekend and had a wonderful time. This campground is GORGEOUS. Nearly every site has a view of the lake. We went in early November and the autumn colors were magical. We had a tent site. Each site has a fire ring and aluminum picnic table. And a tall pole... not sure what that's for but we put a lantern on ours for light. Check in was easy and there's a gate at the entrance, which I liked. We felt safe the entire time. There were other campers, but a lot of empty sites too, which is expected this time of year. It was nice and quiet most of the time. We did have an issue with some obnoxiously loud people at 1am but honestly, I've gone camping all my life and there's ALWAYS one group of obnoxious people at 1 am anywhere you go. I think someone called security, because we heard yelling and then it was quiet right after. Bathrooms and showers were clean, and smelt like bleach. Everything was in working order. Yes facilities look old but you are camping. This ain't the Ritz. If you want brand new gold toilets, stay at a hotel. All in all one of the most lovely campground I've been at. And I've been at a lot. Here's some pictures to show you how pretty this place is!”

“Great first experience. Loved our spot with the beautiful lake view. Had a great time with family and friends. Our son had a blast! Hopefully one day you guys could cater a little bit for the kiddos with a playground or at least something kid friendly while on the premises. Again, perfect for the adults. We also loved that it’s dog friendly. Didn’t have any issues with neighbors either. We will be back.”

“Lanier Islands was absolutely beautiful. Spectacular is a fitting word! The Bullfrog Restaurant was awesome. The food was fresh, tasty and absolutely delicious Our waitress Stephanie made the experience truly memorable. She was professional while being charmingly accommodating. We'd definitely recommend this Restaurant to others.”

“We had dinner at the restaurant. It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon so we waited at the bar. Once we were seated, Mickalea took excellent care of us. We ordered grouper fingers and fried pickles for appetizers. It came very quickly and the apps were very good. The dinners consisted of Swiss mushroom burger and shrimp baskets. I am impressed at the speed of the service. The food was decent and the service was excellent. Now, getting to the restaurant is a bit tricky. If you are stating on-site, it’s easier to get there but you will park a long long way away.”

“We had an awesome time staying at this campground. The gate attendant was nice and friendly, and the place was well kept and clean (including the bathrooms). The views from our site were stunning. Most of the sites are situated on the lake, so there is always a picturesque view of the lake like when you wake up in the morning or just anytime of the day. Each RV campsite has a picnic table with benches, barbecue grill, fire pit, water and electric hookups. Plus you cannot beat their rates. There is no sewer hookup, but the dump station is located prior to the exit gate at the front. We truly enjoyed our stay here in that we already made plans to visit this place again.”

“First off this is not the first time we’ve used Eddie at Tri-county. Three years ago we used him to purchase our first home. He and Renee were great, always answered the phone, and were very knowledgeable and answered any questions that I had. He was great to work with at that point.
