He was very friendly and explained how everything works to get a boat scheduled. He introduced me to one of the guests and I was able to attend their yacht party spur of the moment. “I just comeleted the ASA 101 basic sailing course here in Dec 2021. Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. The marina and boats are well maintained & first class but, for me, the biggest asset are the staff and club members. The atmosphere is filled with encouragement and laughter. Every one was made to feel welcome. There are many friendly & experienced sailors around that are happy to help at every turn. The 101 course was not cheap, but I believe I got value for my expense. I plan to take more courses at LSA. I would recommend the Lanier Sailing Academy and the Passport Sailing club to any friend of mine.”

“Honesty above all. In the middle of the summer my boat was totaled in a fire, with the family visiting, and all planned for a great long weekend. With a short budget, I went by to look at the boats they were for sale in the area. Most of the places dismissed me in a second. Jim listened, understood what I was looking for in about 5 minutes. The 2nd or 3rd boat he pointed out was the perfect one. When asked about condition, he did not lie, told me exactly what he knew. I took the risk of buying it in the spot, after cosigner accepted the offer. All I can say, the boat was in exceptional condition. It was a few years older then my now defunct boat, but it looked 20 years newer. I took it to my mechanic to check it out (after purchase), and couldn't find anything wrong. An hour after the purchase, boat was in the water. I recommend you this place. Jim is an honest man, good to do business with him. Soon will be time to upgrade, and Boat Plus of Georgia and Jim, will be my first stop.”

He has been very patient regarding all of my questions before, during, and after the sale (our first boat). Knowing that I had never towed a trailer before with my truck, he was kind enough to haul the boat to Kennesaw to prevent me from having to drive through downtown Atlanta. No good turn goes unpunished. Unfortunately while he was hauling it a table and its pole flew out of the boat. Nick owned his mistake and replaced the table and post for me. “My husband & I have been looking for the perfect boat for our family all summer. We gave up trying to find something local & just happened to come across a boat from American Boat Brokers. We sent a message about it late on a Friday and was immediately answered by Jackson. He volunteered to send us videos of the boat & promptly answered every message or phone call. He even sent videos of his mechanic checking the hours on the boat & looking it over. We pretty much made a deal on the phone & they held the boat for us for a week with a deposit since it was a 6 hr trip for us. “There are not enough positive words in the English dictionary to describe what a pleasure it was working with Pure Performance. I simply wanted my boat de-winterized and cleaned up a bit. Not only did they do a phenomenal job with cleaning the boat, but they also found and fixed an issue I didn't even know I had! Apparently I had two different prop sizes on my Bravo 3 which severely cut into the performance. Once the prop was replaced it increased my MPH by 15! It planes faster and rides better all because Kevin and his crew at Pure Performance paid attention to detail. If you want boat service done right, do not hesitate to give them a call.”
