“First time visiting this place. It was for a paint & sip. The host/comedian was very welcoming, accommodating, and just overall enjoyable. The DJ was great as well. They weren't very organized but improvised, making us laugh at any hiccups that came up. The food was not great. I had shrimp and grits for $15, which included 5 shrimps and half a plate of interesting tasting grits. Not worth it at all. The drawing for the canvas was subpar. The karaoke sessions were hilarious. Kim, the violinist, was excellent. Loved her vibe. I'd try this place again.”

“This was our first visit. Very yummy place with a nice skinny margarita. It was made with lime juice instead of fresh lime but overall pretty tasty. The barstools were a bit short for the bar, which gave a sort of kiddie table vibe. The tacos were pretty good and both food and drink rather inexpensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As an added plus, they keep late hours on the weekends, which is rare in this region of metro Atlanta. We will most certainly be back!”

“I finally found a place that serves NY style pizza. I love their pizza. You can buy slices and add any toppings. They don't sell small pizzas, just medium and large size. I know they serve a lot more on the menu...but I prefer the pizza. I'm over the other pizza places, and the commercials only to be disappointed with the service. I will be back...I always do.”

“Always loved coming here for lunch break. It takes a bit of time so make sure you have longer than 30 minutes to enjoy but staff is nice and food is tasty. Usually stuck with a lamb gyro or lamb plate. Cookies were good too! Overall it’s a must try in hapeville!”

“I went to school there (called North Avenue Elementary). My mother yanked me out of a parochial school when that school did not have enough qualified teachers for my grade. My first exposure to a school library happened at North Avenue Elementary when our 5th grade class toured the small library and I was told that I could check out a book to read at home. That got me reading Freddy the Pig series that exposed me to cultural and morality issues within the story line. Got to experience bullying from Butch and Jimmy and to this day do not like bullies. But my 6th and 7th grade teachers (Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Schneider) put on a learning path that has served me well all my life. They are long gone but their positive impact on me lives on.”
