“Great place for a fun & flexible getaway! Close enough to town to have viable alternatives for entertaining little ones if the weather turns (there's a zoo, for example), last minute items, or even a couple of pizzas if the fish are shy. Modern conveniences & thoughtful touches such as Wi-Fi & satellite TV, plus a stock of books & good old "offline" board games are placed throughout. The architecture is what you would expect from a residence built in the early 1900s. 12 ft ceilings, oversized windows make it a light & roomy, yet a solid and secure home. It's earned a place on my short list of favorites!”

“Definitely lives up to its reputation for beauty and remoteness (while still offering limited cellular service). We are staying at the Stafford Beach camp ground under a canopy of live oaks and pine tree. We can hear waves crashing from the tent. There is a lot of wild life including armadillos, turkeys, raccoons, snakes, lizards and horses. The bathhouse is adequate with cold showers and flush toilets. Pack as lightly as you can, especially if you are staying beyond Sea Camp. No bicycles are available for rent on the island; the video on the website is out of date.”

“First off, real person here, not a bot. Second, reading these reviews before our stay last night scared me for a minute, but boy were most of them wrong! The room smelled fantastic (like cleaner) and was super clean, the sheets were freshly washed and tucked, and the towels were cleaned recently as well. The bathrooms were super nice, had hot water (quickly too) and GREAT water pressure in the shower. The attendants at the front desk were nothing but friendly each time we saw them, and asked if we needed anything. I really only have two complaints, and they’re completely minor in relation to how CHEAP it was to stay here. The first is that the towels were like super small and threadbare, but still worked. The second being the breakfast, it was subpar (there was no waffle batter left, no milk, etc.) but it was passable and again, for the price, we couldn’t complain. Overall, a lot of these reviews seem to be either inaccurate or entitled. We loved our stay here!”

“We have used Mock's Amelia Vacations several times in the past to rent a beach condo and the experience was always professional, courteous and caring. Then last year my wife and I purchased a condo on Amelia Island and we chose Mock's to be our property manager to handle our rentals. They have been amazing. Their software is state of the art, their location is top notch and with the addition of Jordan and Jacque to complement Elisha and Jonathan, it's a winning team all the way. Always a smile when you walk in and always greeting you with a caring attitude. And, any problems that arise, they are quick to address the issue.
