“I’m still amazed at the service and attention we received from Doug and his team. We have asked for references from our community and Stanley Tree Service was one highly recommended. I called and left a message on a Saturday, Doug called me back within an hour and asked if he could come by within the hour. YES! He gave us a very competitive price. When compared to other companies we had received references on, his price was just one of the factors…TIMEFRAME and equipment were most important. He was able to fit us in within a week and the job was done and cleaned up as though the landscapers had finished it off. They blew leaves, dirt and debris and carted it all away.”

“Only a 20 min drive on 75N from Kennesaw. Beautiful view on the summit especially at sunset. Nice system of trails to choose from. All trails are under 5 miles unless you connect them. If you were to connect all in a day, you could probably make ten or so miles. Two parking lots on opposite sides and exits. Favorite spot for an impulsive hike and or run. 🥾 🥾🥾”

“This was a well marked trail! We went up the boot trail, which I believe was marked with blue. It was labeled moderate but was a more easy as it was uphill, but was dirt and packed with minimal obstacles. The view at the summit was nice with a good photo op! We went down the trail marked strenuous with the Fatman Squeeze. It recommended hiking poles. There was one area with rocks that required some more hands inclusion for traversing. But overall, it was pretty similar to the boot trail. So, more moderate with the inclusion of the rocks. We enjoy it as it had pretty trees and foliage! There was ample parking—very nice gravel lot with a port-o-potty”

“We always have a good time renting a boat from HH. We got the biggest pontoon this time 115h, 12 seats. We had lots of guests with us. We rent a tube. Lots of fun. Always easy getting it and checking back in. We have never had any issues with anyone here. Employees are very nice. Nice boats. Clean and well taken care of.”

“Great park for beginner hikers or children. There's a small paved loop that would be good for wheelchair users or strollers, but the actual hiking is a little bumpier. Still a very easy hike even for a toddler. Beautiful views from the rocks at the lake. Take a picnic and enjoy the view! Lots of easy parking. $5 entry or free with GA state parks pass.”

“This is a really nice place to take a walk. There is a small pond with friendly ducks. The library has a children's story up to read as you walked around. It was a fun family day.”

“Great campground. Super quite for October and the staff was very friendly. Make sure to do your research on your site to make sure you can get your camper backed in as some places are a bit tight. We will be back again in a few weeks.”

“My husband and I rented this group shelter on June 24th and June 25th for our wedding and reception. The building itself had plenty of room. The only problem was there is no air conditioning and it's very hot inside. Our wedding and reception both were beautiful. The staff at the information desk where we picked up the keys wasn't courteous. They charged us for 20 parking passes and we was told if we took the unused ones back they would refund us for the unused ones. Well they never did and the manager still hasn't called.”

“Red Top Mountain State Park is beautiful. The cabins are nice. My family from out of town stayed in the cabins. If it wasn't for having to shuttle family back in forth down to the additional parking at the visitor center I would have given 5 stars. Only 2 cars are allowed to park up at the cabins. The options on buying state passes is a daily or yearly. It would be nice if you could purchase a 2/3 day pass when visiting someone at the cabins. Instead of having to stop daily to get one. Other than that it was a great stay for my family!”

“Leake Mounds is another even earlier native American site built by the Swift Creek Culture and dating to what is known as the Middle Woodland period. This goes back to the prehistoric era between 300 BC and 600 AD. The interpretative trail of 18 markers covers around three kilometres. It details the archaeological finds discovered during digs, and what they mean for our understanding of this period of history. The trail takes in the remains of three mounds, as well as a large semi-circular ditch or moat, and a midden – a prehistoric landfill site.”

“What a nice place to camp. We stayed right on the water for a week. Close to Lakepoint ball fields! Great swim area right in front of our campsite. We had family and friends come stay at the campground too. The boys rode their bikes, swam in the pool, fished and played lots of basketball. Check in was easy and the security was great. We will go back to this campground. Very family friendly and great memories!”

“I took the library pass and went with the family. It’s just amazing to see what Indians have done and lived in this land long time back. The place is well preserved and maintained and we had a good time walking around the trail and knowing about the history. The whole walk and visit took us around 2-3 hours. Do not miss the river walk laid out in the map and the pathway under the bridge.”

“This is a little unknown gem and the town of Louisville easy to get to not so easy to find GPS made me pass it twice there's not a very big sign pointing out the displaced but if you look hard you can find it it's an easy walk although it was muddy when we went still an easy walk for two people and a dog they only let 3 Cars a day in so you have to get a horde of the proper people to get the code although we did and need it but you need to look it up on Google I cannot remember at this time it was a nice visit only took about 15 minutes to hike it enjoy”

“We stayed in 17/18. This is the perfect spot for a large group. We had 2 trailers. 4 tents and 5 vehicles and there was plenty of space for everyone. Pretty close to the water and we were able to watch the kids swim from the tents with out having to be there with them. The boat ramp was across from us so we got to see a parade of awesome boats day and night. There no mosquitoes or Flys, but we did have lots of ants crawling in the tents and trailers. Showers and playground were a 5 minute walk away. Showers were clean. Staff was very friendly.”

“100 stars for this place. The sites are clean and well maintained. The shower house is very clean. The best prices anywhere. Great swimming and fishing. But my 100 stars goes to the staff, they are accommodating and helpful, kind and friendly. I felt at home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!”

“Convenient and open year-round. Many beautiful sites on the lake with nice views and sunsets. Some sites are downhill back-in and can be tough to navigate. But most are generally level, and quite private. Check site details on the website for appropriate lengths. The bathhouses are not particularly convenient, and are over due for an update… But overall, we enjoy the quiet and the views at this park.”
