Ascension Lutheran Church and School

Fantastic church, that is rooted in preaching and teaching biblical truth. Very welcoming.

Is like a family to me. People notice when you're there and when you're not. They come up and ask if you're okay if you miss church. Pastor is more like a friend to me and I often text him questions that stump me about the Bible and he takes the time to answer them as busy as he is. When I have a family emergency he finds the time to show up and be there for me. I can always count on him. He is Young so he can relate to people of all ages, and he genuinely cares. He is a unique and I just love him as a person. He is married with kids so he can relate to everybody out there. Give us a try. It's a great church.

Welcoming and loving atmosphere! A great example of a community of Christians working together to live for Christ. I especially enjoy the Bible Studies after service Sunday mornings! We visit whenever we're in Sarasota for the weekend.

Wonderful Bible centered worship. Friendly people. Full elementary school. Pre-K too.

My daughter attending pre-k at Ascension and absolutely loved it. She was excited to go to school and would come home with a smile on her face telling me about everything she learned and the friends she made. The teachers are very attentive and make your child feel so welcome and loved. I highly recommend this school!
