Love this place. A locals staple with great food, music and service. Cuban dishes are excellent, ropa or Cuban are my go-to! Always a good crowd but never feels unwelcoming. Team is some of the best around town!

I had the Cuban pork loin which was really good. The meat was tender and not dried out. Good ratio of black beans and yellow rice. Also tried the peanut but pie which was to die for. Food seems made with love instead of frozen+reheated. It’s got a dive vibe but good food and drinks. Live music when we were there but easy to sit at the bar and converse still without it being too loud. We’ll be back for sure

My favorite place so far on this visit to Sarasota. Had the pork burrito. It was delicious. I would like to go back and try some other dishes. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We had a large group (10) so we arrived at five and got right in. By the time we left at six the place was filling up. They often have live music. The vibe is very laid back and eclectic. Fun place to meet with friends for a good meal.

Enjoyed very much the live country music and the Cuban sandwich was outstanding. Very good atmosphere and good crowd on a Thursday evening. Definitely something to try while visiting Sarasota. Loved it! Our server Fay was very friendly and welcoming too, plus they offered us dessert on the house being our first time.
