“Wooded, park like setting. The sites are roomy. It's eclectic, well maintained and quiet. It has wifi. The laundry and shower areas are dated but clean and functional. This much beautiful green space is rare in the area. Only the area parks rival the natural beauty of this campground.”

“Nice Boating Dock and Park. Great spot to launch from. However, lots of people have very poor manners and attitude in launching edict and boat launching. Expect to spend some time trying to launch your boat and to get it out of the water. People will try to cut in front of you on land and in water. Tempers will rise and violence is usually threatened. Please keep your cool. I recommend the staff try to get some police presence. Overall it's an okay place.”

“We started at Key Vista and rode to the end of Anclote River Park to have a beer at Miss Vicky's. A little over an hour ofc riding time. Very scenic with live oaks, long needle pines, marshy areas, sandy areas, along the road, through the trees, all on a beautiful 73 degree day. Highly recommended.”

“Lovely piece of too quickly disappearing old Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. During a recent visit we saw many interesting birds flying near the shore: a small flock of Frigate birds, a bald eagle, many ospreys and brown pelicans. A few years back we watched a couple of owlets grow and then finally fly away.”
