“right now, I am at student at the school. Overall, it is good, but there are some problems (not the worst possible problems.) There is bullying, it is just hidden. They have a ban on sweaters without a zipper, which is pretty dumb in my opinion. Because some kid decides to wear a T-shirt to school and hides it under his sweater doesn't mean that everyone else is going to do that. And finally, the landscaping is kind of mediocre, but better than my previous school. If they fixed up the plants in the center courtyard and added some more trees, than that would be great. Again, it is an overall good school.”

“My son has been attending The Learning Place for the past 8 month. My son has SCD and finding a school that could accommodate him was very hard. Not only did his teacher take the time to ask question and learn more about his condition all of the staff seem to be knowledgeable so that any teacher could fill in in his classroom. The staff and the owner knows me by name and seem to genuinely care about the children in their care. My son love his teacher Ms. Sarah. He even talk about her over the weekend. I would highly recommend this preschool to anyone who is looking for a loving preschool environment for their children.”

“My daughter started attending La Petite Academy at 13 weeks old. From the moment she began in the infant room we knew we were home. My baby was taken care of by people who started as strangers, but soon became like second mothers to my child since some days she would be there 10-12 hours due to work schedules. As she got a bit older and moved out of the baby room, she struggled a bit, but the morning teachers helped her each morning when she didn't want to go to her class. She was also able to "work" at the front desk each morning until she was ready to join the group. Little things like this make it so much easier to drop off your child and continue on to a full workday. Fast forward three years, and that little baby now thinks she is the queen of La Petite. All of the teachers and office personnel know her and stop to talk to both her and me about a crazy thing she said or something funny that she did. We truly appreciate all of the love and attention that she gets and we enjoy hearing about it. Thank you all at La Petite for the hard work you do and the patience you show everyday, we truly appreciate you!”

“I love Crystal Lakes! My son started here in first grade with only a few months to go because we had just moved here (from Hagen Road Elem). He had trouble with reading and they helped him make more progress than Hagen did all year in two months! Plus it's a smaller school which I like a lot, smaller class sizes. I'm not sure who disliked it but maybe it doesn't fit them. I've been very impressed.”

The volunteers and Staff insure that members who come to learn, be entertained and socialize are not disappointed. Many relationships and friendships flourish here. We are fortunate to have a caring and dedicated leader, Anthony Slayen, Senior Vice President is respected by all. We are very fortunate to have this special leader and we look forward to many successful years ahead. I would suggest to Mr. Winkler that he look elsewhere.”

“Mrs. Borda has ought to be the greatest teacher on this planet. I love the way she insults her students, gossips, ignores questions, talks about her family and takes control of her class. It shows dominance in a true dictatorship-like fashion, while also showing how much she truly cares for and loves her students. Her superiority over students and other teachers is shown in bold colors in an excellent classroom setting. She teaches at just the right pace to learn everything out of a lesson and to prepare you for the AICE exam. There may be a few slip-ups from time to time, but they are easily made up with a great lecture and class discussion. This is everything I would expect from a 26-year teacher. Job well done Somerset for hiring this excellent addition to the 2018-2019 school year. We will surely have a 100% pass rate with this teacher on our exam. She should teach everything, she's so good. I'd even say she's better than Piazza. She is easily the most qualified teacher at somerset and I hope she stays for a very long time so future students can have the same great experience year after year. It is only her that makes Somerset the greatest school on Planet Earth.”
