Amelia Island State Park

What an amazing place!! You can drive along the beach (only 4x4) enjoy the sun, fishing and a good walk. I love the protected area of ​​the dunes, everything is well signposted, where you can enter with your vehicle and where you can't. Admission is $2 per person, there is a portable toilet right in the parking lot, this one is free. I love this park, we have had a fantastic day.

Great area to walk around and if you have a 4x4 you can drive on the beach. We saw someone stuck in the sand...so I wouldn't go on unless you have a 4x4.

Nice beach and a good view. Plenty of people parking on the beach and walk ups too. Some fishermen to watch out for near the main entrance. The current is strong at this inlet so be careful. And, no waves. Entry fee is $2 per person. No attendant at the gate so paying is on the honor system. If you do not have cash there is a QR code to pay online.

Great place to visit with the family, we had a great time spending the whole day out there. If you have 4x4 you can drive on the beach, it was nice to have easy access to unloading and loading the car.

Beautiful park with a bridge for shade for your fishing desires! If you can drive your 4-wheeler on the beach so much the better. Great beach and wildlife surrounding area. Perfect drive on the A1A and keep going till you reach I-95. Very relaxing area.
