“If I were a negative person I would give Maryland Masonic Homes a one star because of Maggie Kelly. However I know Maryland Masonic Homes has given me a life changing experience at the facility. And the care team is awesome. However, the reason why I would not be returning to Maryland Masonic Homes is Maggie Kelly. This is probably one of the worst decisions made in the organization. I have never seen an individual so bent on tearing apart teams and creating tension within staff. Maggie has created an environment promoting tension in the staff and making everyone feel completely undervalued. As someone who has given care in hospitals for a long time, I know when someones character is divisive creating greater turn overs in a hospital. Even though I enjoyed working at Maryland Masonic homes before this person came on board I will not be returning. When a leader sows discord among staff members, gossips, is extremely rude, and finds ways to undermine employees confidence, then I am better off somewhere else where team spirit is promoted and employees respected for their contributions. If I were given the opportunity to make a review of the staff Maggie Kelly would be given a 1 in the absence of 0, but at the same time I think of all the other staff that put in so much to make Masonic Homes a great facility thats why I will rather see them prosper hopefully in the absence of this individual.”

“Jessica organized a lovely outing on Biscayne Bay. We started with a scenic water tour of many of the fine homes lining the water before anchoring by a small island. We offloaded for a relaxing, ocean-side, beach yoga session. We had access to paddle boards for exploring. We then climbed back on board for a delicious brunch prepared by Lawrence. Sadly, the day had to end and we motored back to shore savoring the fine memories of the morning at sea.”

“This place is a delight! I ship a lot of packages so I've spent 5% of my adult life standing in line at a post office, but there's never a crowd at this place. It's located in the heart of downtown Dow, and even has a pay phone in the front yard! Driving into downtown Dow is like stepping back in time, and I love it. The post office grounds are surrounded by verdant fields and bucolic views, and it gets even better INSIDE the post office. The postmaster ("Mindy") is so personable and patient. She knows her patrons by name and is always so helpful. I can't say enough good things about this place. I drive way out of my way to do business here. I highly recommend!”

Have witnessed a few disrespectful customers at times but staff does their best to serve them. Long lines are customers fault for bringing in recent purchases in bags expecting postal employees to do all the work packaging them & addressing them. She also said that she spoke to Julio regarding his irrational behavior. This world needs more people like Gaby who truly care, enjoy their job and who act professionally and helpful. Thank you Gaby for your service! ORIGINAL Review 5/22: If only I could rate this place with negative stars. My husband stopped by the Jose Marti Post Office today 5/22/20 to discuss an issue regarding the placement of our new permanent mailbox for our home that has been under construction and used to have a construction gate with a temporary mailbox. Recently, the construction fence and temporary mailbox have been removed as construction is almost done, the new mailbox has been secured next to out front door, it is visible from the street and matches the exact placement we had before construction started. while also matching the placement of EVERY other house on my street and neighborhood. However, yesterday 5/21/20 the mail lady left a letter saying our new mailbox was "improperly placed". In addition, we have not been receiving important mail and packages for the last 2 days yet the mail lady was able to come place this said letter in my new mailbox yesterday. From the beginning, a (he wish he was) gentleman named JULIO greeted everyone at the door with a less-than-welcoming attitude. My husband explained my situation and was told to wait for a supervisor. After 20 mins, a lady came out and listened to what he had to say and told him she wasn't familiar with these situations so she asked JULIO for his opinion on the matter. JULIO proceeded to chant out "HE DOESN'T OWN THE PLACE, HE DOESN'T MAKE A PROFIT AND HE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT", same words which he chanted to EVERY SINGLE customer that walked in after my husband for those 20 mins he waited. JULIO was extremely unprofessional, rude, belligerent and had absolutely NO WILLING BONE IN HIS BODY to listen or help us, let alone anyone who walked in this building. This person should NOT have physical contact with customers at all as he needs EXTENSIVE training in people skills, respect and most importantly CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please provide this employee (JULIO) some very much needed mental health services and kindly place an employee that is willing, able and determined to provide the customer service we deserve for services we pay for. Sad to say NOTHING was resolved today, no answers were given to our questions, no mail/packages have been or will be delivered for who knows how long. This is unacceptable.”

“First, Tommy was awesome. Second, it was just my wife and I so he allowed us to bring our dog with us if we could secure her on our lap. The airboat ride itself was very cool, it would be nice if the riding part was longer but the tour would need to be longer for that because you won't want to miss the history. Tommy explains how his family and people came to live in the glades and how their people persevered to gain government recognition of their sovereignty. It's good stuff. “These guys are incredible, I called them at their main office for some help on finding a new place to rent. I'd spent 2 months prior trying to find something on my own, but NOTHING was working out, I even had a landlord flake on his agreement without notice. I was desperately looking to move somewhere quickly, but without compromising anything I needed. Interinvestments had a realtor call me back with a set of places within the half hour and I went to see one of them that very same day. I also learned that they handle maintenance for most of the homes they rent out so I always have someone to contact if I have a problem (I had prior issues with landlords taking their sweet time to fix an A/C or spray for bugs). I've been living here in Coral Gables for over 6 months and am happy to say I feel that I've found stability and safety with this company... and I love my place!!!!”
