Hurricane Hanks

Hands down some of the best food on the island! You may not get the beach front views, so I suggest getting your meal to go and just eating at the beach if you want that. But most other places are not great and are double the price. The staff were all so nice and we were seated immediately at 4:00pm. I live in Florida and have eaten almost everywhere on the island. This is definitely in the Top 5.

Hurricane Hanks is great. Every time we have eaten here, the food was plentiful and delicious. The service is wonderful and everyone works together . None of the “you aren’t my table” stuff you see at other restaurants. Everyone from the bar tender to the wait staff seemed to work together like a well oiled machine! Keep up the good work, and thank you for working!

GREAT food. It’s a small place, I’m tired of seeing all of these 3 star, 2 star reviews whining about the wait. It’s worth the wait. We got grouper tacos, chicken tenders, grouper sandwich, and original burger. All amazing. Servers are super friendly and it’s a fun place. 10/10

Went there after trying a few other places around AMI that received 4.5+ reviews that we found lacking. Sat at the bar because of wait time and glad we did. Adam was great and the food didn’t let us down either. Had crab cakes and crab stuffed grouper. If we don’t find anything else worth while before we leave AMI, definitely coming back. Also reassured by the fact that everyone coming in were locals that knew each other. If the locals frequent this place, it definitely maintains a certain standard that brings them back.
