“We went kayaking with North Beach Adventures. Joey was great. We gave him very little notice, and he got us in the water right away and he was right there to help us out later in the day. The launch is only a 45 minute paddle from Dutton Island Preserve and there's plenty to see along the way. We stopped there for lunch and watched others fish off the lookout before heading back. Great trip. Highly recommend!”

“We where visiting from out of town and saw this place right across from our hotel and figured we would try it, not only were the staff as friendly as could be, they did an amazing job, I didn’t feel like I had to clarify anything and they really listened and took care of you as far as service. “The physicians, nurses and other staff at WakeMed Brier Creek were exceptional when I was recently treated for a small bowel obstruction, that ultimately required surgery. One staff member, Jimmy, who works in radiology, went above and beyond the call of duty, and my husband and I would like to give special acknowledgement for his kindness and extraordinary effort on our behalf. My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic who had been by my side for hours as I was being diagnosed and treated for what had originally been diagnosed as gastroenteritis at another urgent care facility. We were referred to WakeMed for further examination. Because we are vegetarians, Jimmy went out of his way to get my husband some food in order to prevent him from having a low blood sugar episode. Thank you so very much, Jimmy, we were so grateful for your help at a very difficult time.”
