Broward College - Pines Center

It’s a small campus, but it’s a beautiful satellite campus. I love it.
You get a better learning experience from the small classroom.

Great college. Always looks for ways to zoom in on the strengths of the student while ensuring any weak areas are acknowledged and worked on.

Located behind a Public library and a High school this mini Broward College mini campus has few amenities but makes up for it in location and charm.

It is perfect location for studying since it is open late and it is really quiet on campus. The campus boasts free WiFi for BC students and nice tutoring services. The staff here are really nice but they are a endangered breed since the campus has few student services.
Classes comprise most of the campus' functions.

Location:
Located on Sheridan street and jaguar way. It is nestled deep behind South West Reginal Library. The school can only be reached by going into the Academic Village. The school shares it's space with the local high school Pembroke Pines Charter and with the Broward County Library Southwest Reginal branch. The high school is gated off entirely but the library is free for use.

Services:
Student lounge has computers for use, tables for eating and vending machines. The Student life and Academic Learning Center are the only features left alive on this mini campus, since all other Student services and administrative duties were moved to Miramar West Center/FIU satalite campus.(**This information had yet to be updated on the BC website)

Architecture/Design:
There are only two floors on this small campus and classes are mostly held in classrooms upstair's. The entrance is very grand from the outside and looks small once in the lobby. The class area up stairs is a bit dated-looking compared to other BC campuses. The lounge area has a nice balcony over the lobby. The building has a orange color but it's design is warm and wso coming. It shares its architectural aesthetic with alot of local homes. Outiside it has nice shrubbery And there are tables with umbrellas for use.

Very quiet

On a scale of 1 to school, this is definitely a place with free WiFi.
