The task looked huge when we walked into the enormous Mattress Firm store in New Milford. Laurie greeted us with a smile and explained the color code system. Yellow was firm and we started there. Honestly, the mattress was chosen and purchased in less than an hour with Laurie’s expert help. What she knows about her products is truly impressive. She wrote up the order, arranged delivery and pick up and hugged us good bye. Working with Laurie was like doing business with a friend we’d known for a very long time. “I browsed Antique Purveyor's inventory on-line and bought the perfect Jupe table for us without seeing it in person first. It was even MORE beautiful in person when we went to pick it up! We had e-mailed back and forth and they were patient as I needed to wait to pick it up until after the kitchen cabinets were installed. We watched the gentleman wrap our table top (with all it's moving parts) and pedestal like they were going to be parachuted out of an airplane to some remote location--not put on our trailer for a short ride home. While we were there we saw a whole dining room set ready to be shipped to Bermuda and I bet it'll get there in perfect condition! I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them and have something shipped based on their photos--they want you to LOVE your furniture as much as they do! BTW Jupe tables are amazing reproductions of an 1880's design that expand round-to-round. For example, ours goes from 54 inches round to 70 inches round when we pull out the wedges and unfold the leaves in between...really amazing engineering and conversation piece--not to mention gorgeous wood! They make much bigger ones, too, but we don't have room so this is perfect for us. I hope you discover just what you want at Antique Purveyors, too!”

David's was slightly more in terms of overall cost compared to the "big box" stores, but the product (carpet and padding), are of higher quality, better warranty and more importantly, the service was vastly superior. I had limited time frames in which to complete the work, and David accommodated without question. Top notch. I did all the trim work in the house, and David and his crew (Julio helped him, super nice guy) did not leave a single mark upon install. If you want the job done right, go with David. He's local, and you know who you are dealing with.”
