“I first tried Carozza when I relocated jobs from a Westchester County and I am SO happy I stumbled across this place!! I love the gym layout, it’s a huge open space and it has everything you can possibly need ... no matter if your trying to just work out, do CrossFit or following a private training programming. Mike , the owner , is AWESOME as well. He me very accessible, friendly and knowledgeable on anything workout related. He is ALWAYS in the gym , so if you have any questions about a work out, technique or programming questions he is always there for you. And it also helps that he has a very likable personality and good humor :) Mike is very hands on and knows all his members, he is one of the best gym owners I have met. Sometimes if he has to run out of the gym for a errand , I can always text him any workout related questions and he gets back to me instantly. The gym is located in a school bus/construction warehouse type location but don’t let that throw you off ! It’s awesome inside :) My job got transferred back to NY last year, and I tried other gyms close to me, but the layout of the gym , Mikes hands on approach and the programming is what made new rejoin and drive a little out of my way up to Stamford ! And someone below commented about the bathrooms ? It’s a awesome gym , CrossFit gym, that gets RESULTS. If you want fancy bathrooms and fluffy bs, join Equinox.”

“Signed up for 10 classes. Very good experience. Instructors are very knowledgeable and know how to challenge you, but at the same time find modifications if you need help with the poses. You can't go wrong choosing Becca, Robyn, or Michelle. I've tried all of their classes at least once. There were typically 3-5 participants in class, but once in a while there were 9 or 10. The temperature was hot but not overbearing, which works nicely with the flow of the class. Absolute pleasure no complaints”

“My 6-year old son has been in the martial arts program at Tiger Schulmann in Stamford for about 6 months. We decided to enroll him in the program because when the schools shut down in response to the COVID-19 pandemic we felt that it was important to offer him a safe environment to remain active and to interact with others in order for him to continue developing social skills - but we’ve got so much more in return. Under close supervision of Sensei Nick Demetrius and his instructors, my son actively participates in well structured classes that places a strong emphasis in social learning, and as result, he has gained not only physical and mental strength but also developed emotional and social skills. During practice, I have always found it moving when I watched the more experienced children modeling and taking concrete steps to help the newcomers, but it was a special moment for me when the day came and I watched my son doing it for others. I am particularly found of the after-class discussion when the children gather in circle to hear the instructor talk about important interpersonal skills and they have a chance to express their thoughts. Here the children are given yet another opportunity to practice attention skills and build up self-confidence as they often engage in the discussion and express their ideas to the group. In sum, our experience at Stamford Tiger Schulmann’s martial arts program is nothing short than excellent.”

“The brand new CycleBar at Stamford is the best spin studio in the area. Amazing instructors and staff, lovely environment, excellent music and most importantly the classes are challenging. Firstly, Hannah and Brett made sure the sign up process was a breeze for my wife and me! And yes, the next day I entered the class, all nervous! But the entire crew was very welcoming, and made sure to ease my anxiety! They helped me through the process (shoes, bike setup, water bottle etc). Also, a very sweet welcome note written on my locker was very encouraging and made my day! All of the classes are challenging and the instructors are very motivating, and also the class Statistics in the TV screens are fun and competitive. I have so far done my classes with Whitney, Sydney, Amanda and Selina, and they are all amazing instructors, and very inspiring! (And I am sure the other instructors are awesome too!) The combination of CycleBeats (Motivating music playlists), CycleStats, lights and inspiring instructors make this a perfect place! “I started "Reshape by Patrick" after purchasing a 6 week groupon this Spring. I went to boot camp approximately 2-3 times/week and I definitely saw a different in relation to my overall endurance and strength. Within this six week period I saw my body begin to transform. I then extended the boot camp experience by doing a 49 day summer boot camp challenge. There are many great things about this program - the instructors are fantastic, the workouts are always different, Patrick is a great resource to everyone trying to meet their health goals, and, most surprisingly, the boot camp participants are all very welcoming.
