We attend this little church occasionally when we visit an aging relative. The pastor is friendly and has thoughtful sermons. The people are a bit shy but friendly. I certainly disagree with the one person who obviously has some sort of issue, I knew the older pastor quite well and they each have their strong points and weaknesses, as we all do. I can't for the life of me figure what he experienced that required such strong negative comments.That's not necessary.

Attended this wonderful church for the first time in February and have returned several times since. The congregation is friendly, inviting and Pastor Kevin DeHope always greets you with a warm smile. From the minute the service begins, it is obvious that Pastor DeHope devotes himself to honestly preaching from the Bible and remaining true to Mo-Synod doctrinal positions. After spending a year listening to well meaning, but diluted sermons while looking for a church home, Sunday mornings at Sts. John and Luke Lutheran Church are a breath of fresh air!
